How they are made
The production process for this article is very long and everything is made in house, to allow us to maximise quality control. The pattern is developed on CAD (Computer Aided Design) and all the pieces are optimized to ensure a perfect fit; Lastly the garment is constructed with great care and precision. the use of the computer allows us to have the utmost accuracy in shaping and size developing; using this system we don’t have any size limits, so we can realize bespoke garments on clients request.
Charateristics of Longjohns made in interlock wool
These Longjohns have a perfect fit and they are invisible when worn under trousers. The main qualities of this garment are its warmth, softness, thickness and an excellent hygroscopicity, the ability to absorb perspiration. Interlock Merino wool is a very soft, warm fabric, the Interlock technique makes the final garment much more durable. Consequently, these charateristics, make this heavy and soft fabric ideal for underwear with an excellent fit with no constrictions. The fabric together with the very comfortable cut, makes this garment, ideal in cold winters.
Furthermore, in order to make our longjohns even more comfortable, we produce them with an adjustable waistline; the waistband has a 3 button closure which allows you to regulate the size in addition the fly is cut on the diagonal in order to ensure total cover. As a result of this particular cut, whatever size you choose the coverage is always excellent. This garment is perfect after washing, due to the high quality of the wool we use.
The colour
We do not colour this fabric because the dyeing process would decrease the fibers’ natural softness.
